The AMLU participated in a workshop titled “Overcoming Barriers to ML/TF Information Exchange with Peer Institutions, including Egmont Group Partners” held in Amman during the period from 17-18/8/2017 In Cooperation with Global Center on Cooperative Security and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the participation of representstives and experts from Australia, Kenya, Lebanon and representatives from competent national authoroties.
Discussions focused on overcoming barriers to ML/TF information exchange among financial intelligence units, Jordanian ML/TF information exchange with foreign counterparts, Informal and formal channels that facilitate ML/TF& information exchange, Presenting case examples of successful information exchange and enhancing inter- agency information sharing among jordanian national authorities.
